Sept 16 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions and disposals were reported by 0930 GMT on Monday:
** Taiwan's financial regulator rejected a takeover
attempt by financial conglomerate CTBC of rival Shin
Kong saying its plans were incomplete.
** Technology firm CACI International ( CACI ) said it
would buy privately held radar and communications equipment
maker Azure Summit Technology for $1.28 billion in cash to bulk
up its business catering to the defense industry.
** Professional services provider JTC said it
has agreed to buy Citigroup's ( C/PN ) global fiduciary and trust
administration services business for $80 million.
** Italian broker Intermonte said it had received
a takeover bid from Banca Generali for all of its
shares.
** QXO, the company billionaire Brad Jacobs is
seeking to launch into building services, recently made an offer
of around $9.4 billion to acquire Rexel that the French
company on Sunday said it had rebuffed.
** U.S. aluminium maker Alcoa ( AA ) said on Sunday that it
would sell a 25.1% stake in its Ma'aden joint venture to Saudi
Arabian mining company Ma'aden for $1.1 billion.
** Temasek is nearing a deal to acquire a 20% stake in
Blackstone-owned visa application outsourcing and
technology services firm VFS Global, Bloomberg News reported on
Saturday, citing people familiar with the matter.
** Canada's ABC Technologies Holdings proposed a revised
buyout of London-listed automotive components supplier TI Fluid
Systems at 176 pence ($2.31) per share on Sept. 4, the
companies said on Saturday.
