Oct 16 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,

acquisitions, and disposals were reported by 0930 GMT on

Wednesday:

** Spanish bank BBVA raised the impact on its

capital ratio to 38 basis points after it adjusted the hostile

takeover offer for its smaller rival Sabadell, it said

in a regulatory filing to the U.S. Securities and Exchange

Commission on Tuesday.

** MasOrange, the Spanish unit of French telecom group

Orange, has hired BNP Paribas to sell its stake in the

fibre network it shares with Vodafone Spain, El Confidencial

website reported, citing unnamed market sources.

** Toho Co, the Japanese creator of the "Godzilla"

movie franchise, will acquire the U.S. distributor of Studio

Ghibli's famed animated films, to help drive overseas expansion,

it said.

** Shareholders have backed plans for budget carrier AirAsia

to be bought by its long-haul associate, AirAsia X,

paving the way for the Malaysian-based airlines to finalise

their consolidation by the end of the year.
