Nov 4 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1430 GMT on Monday:
** Air Transport Services Group ( ATSG ) said it was
being acquired by investment firm Stonepeak in a deal valued at
$3.1 billion, including debt, sending the aircraft lessor's
shares up 22.9% before the bell.
** Canadian telecom firm BCE said it would buy
internet services provider Ziply Fiber for C$5 billion ($3.60
billion) in cash, as it looks to expand its fiber footprint in
the United States.
** Anglo American has agreed to sell a 33.3% stake
in a joint venture that owns a 70% interest in the Jellinbah
East and Lake Vermont steelmaking coal mines in Australia, for
A$1.6 billion ($1.1 billion).
** British insurer and asset manager M&G has bought
a majority stake in European real estate investor BauMont, as it
prepares to buy up more commercial property in anticipation of a
market recovery.
** Blackstone is in advanced talks to acquire Retail
Opportunity Investments Corp ( ROIC ), which owns U.S. shopping
centers and has a market value of $3.4 billion including debt,
according to people familiar with the matter.
