March 3 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1030 GMT on Monday:
** Chubb has reached agreements to acquire the property and
casualty insurance businesses of Liberty Mutual in Thailand and
Vietnam.
** Dutch bank ING said it has agreed to buy a 17.6%
stake in Van Lanschot Kempen, which would take its
total stake in the Dutch private wealth manager to 20.3%.
** Real estate income trust Welltower ( WELL ) said on Sunday it
will acquire Canada-based senior living company Amica Senior
Lifestyles' portfolio from the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan
for C$4.6 billion ($3.18 billion).
** Private equity group Clearlake Capital is close to a deal to
buy a majority stake in Modernizing Medicine (ModMed) that could
value the medical software provider at $5.3 billion including
debt, the Financial Times reported on Sunday.
** Italian luxury group Prada is moving closer to a
deal to buy Versace from upmarket fashion group Capri Holdings ( CPRI )
after agreeing to a price of nearly 1.5 billion euros
($1.6 billion), Bloomberg News reported on Sunday.
