March 5 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1030 GMT on
Wednesday:
** Australian lender Commonwealth Bank of Australia ( CBAUF )
said it has sold its remaining 4.4% stake in Vietnam
International Commercial Joint Stock Bank, marking its
full exit from the Vietnamese lender.
** Swedish grocery retailer ICA Gruppen said it would sell its
Baltic subsidiary to Denmark's biggest supermarket operator
Salling Group in a deal worth 1.3 billion euros ($1.38 billion),
excluding debt.
** Nvidia ( NVDA )-backed CoreWeave said on Tuesday it is
acquiring AI developer platform Weights & Biases, as the company
seeks to extend its cloud platform ahead of its IPO.
** Japan's Trial Holdings said it would spend 382.6
billion yen ($2.55 billion) to acquire the Seiyu supermarket
chain controlled by U.S. private equity fund KKR.
** Arthur J. Gallagher ( AJG ) said on Tuesday it would acquire
rival Woodruff Sawyer in a $1.2 billion deal, marking the
insurance broker's latest move to expand its business.
