March 18 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions, and disposals were reported by 0930 GMT on
Tuesday:
** Google-parent Alphabet is in advanced negotiations
to buy Israeli cybersecurity company Wiz with an offer of more
than $30 billion, according to a source familiar with the
matter, marking its largest potential acquisition to date.
** London-listed Glencore ( GLCNF ) has made an offer to acquire
Canadian lithium battery recycling company Li-Cycle
as part of a proposal to offset operational and financial
issues.
** South Korean conglomerate Hanwha now owns a 9.9%
stake in Australian shipbuilder Austal ( AUTLF ), an exchange
filing showed.
** Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton has acquired a legal
technology company, a rare move as large law firms race to
invest in generative artificial intelligence.
** The German insurer Allianz said on Monday that it
was selling its 26% stake in two joint ventures with India's
Bajaj Finserv to the Bajaj Group for around 2.6
billion euros ($2.84 billion).
