May 12 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,

acquisitions and disposals were reported by 0930 GMT on Monday:

** Spanish defence company Indra sent a non-binding

offer for Italian group Iveco's defence business,

newspaper El Economista reported, citing unidentified market

sources.

** Danone said it has agreed to buy a majority stake

in Kate Farms, a U.S. maker of plant-based organic drinks that

will fit into the French food giant's specialized nutrition

portfolio.

** Canadian miner Pan American Silver ( PAAS ) will acquire MAG

Silver Corp ( MAG ) in a transaction which values the silver

mining company at about $2.1 billion, the companies said on

Sunday.
