May 13 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions and disposals were reported by 0930 GMT on Tuesday
:
** Exxaro Resources said it has reached an agreement
to buy manganese mines in South Africa in a deal worth 11.67
billion rand as it diversifies into green transition minerals.
** Australia's Abacus Storage King ( ABSKF ) has rejected an
A$1.93 billion ($1.23 billion) buyout offer from a consortium
led by South African billionaire Nathan Kirsh, citing risks
around valuation, timing and deal completion, it said.
** Brazilian sugarcane processor Raizen agreed to
sell its Leme plant in southeastern Brazil for 425 million reais
($74.78 million) as part of its strategy to trim its portfolio
and cut debt, the firm said on Monday.
** Italian ceramics billionaire Romano Minozzi has emerged as a
significant shareholder in the Italian energy group Eni with a
stake of just over 3%, regulatory filings showed on Monday.
