July 31 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions and disposals were reported by 0930 GMT on
Thursday:
** Air France-KLM has pulled out of the process to buy
a stake in privately owned Spanish airline Air Europa, a
spokesperson for the Franco-Dutch airline group said.
** Canada's Brookfield Wealth Solutions ( BNT ) agreed to
acquire Just Group for 2.4 billion pounds ($3.18
billion) as part of its expansion into the UK pension risk
market, sending the British insurer's shares to an 11-year high.
** Euronext has offered to buy Hellenic Exchanges - Athens Stock
Exchange (ATHEX) in a 412.8 million euro ($472.7
million) all-share deal, it said.
** JD.com ( JD ) is acquiring Germany's Ceconomy in
a deal that values the electronics retailer at 2.2 billion euros
($2.5 billion), allowing one of China's largest online retailers
to expand outside of its home market.
** Drugmaker AbbVie is in talks to acquire
privately-held mental health therapeutics company Gilgamesh
Pharmaceuticals in a deal worth about $1 billion, Bloomberg News
reported on Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
** U.S. law firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati has sold its
technology unit SixFifty to human resources software firm
Paychex ( PAYX ), calling it one of the largest-ever deals for a
law firm tech subsidiary.
