August 28 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1930 GMT on
Thursday:
** Italy's UniCredit said it has increased its
stake in Greece's Alpha Bank to nearly 26% after
entering into financial instruments for an additional 5%
holding.
** Abu Dhabi's ADNOC is selling an around 3% stake in its
logistics and services unit through a bookbuild offering, it
said, as the United Arab Emirates state oil company resorts to
more secondary share sales in its businesses.
** Canada's Guardian Capital Group ( GRCGF ) has agreed to be
taken private by Desjardins Global Asset Management in a C$1.67
billion ($1.21 billion) all-cash deal, the financial services
firm said on Thursday.
** Boeing ( BA ) is seeking EU approval to buy back Spirit
AeroSystems ( SPR ), the world's largest standalone
aerostructures company, documents on the European Commission
website show.
** Berkshire Hathaway, through its wholly-owned unit
National Indemnity Company, has raised its stake in Japan's
Mitsubishi Corp ( MSBHF ) and Mitsui & Co ( MITSF ), the companies
said.
** Barclays ( BCS ) has agreed to sell its stake in joint
venture Entercard Group to partner Swedbank AB for an
estimated 2.6 billion crowns ($273.2 million), the British
lender said.
