Oct 23 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,

acquisitions and disposals were reported by 0930 GMT on

Thursday:

** The London Stock Exchange Group ( LDNXF ) said it will sell a

20% stake in its clearing unit to a group of banks in a deal

that values the business at 850 million pounds ($1.14 billion),

and announced plans to raise its share of profits from the

SwapClear business.

** Australia's Woodside Energy ( WDS ) said it had agreed to

sell a 10% stake in the liquefied natural gas project in

Louisiana and an 80% interest and operatorship of the Driftwood

pipeline to U.S. firm Williams for $250 million.
