11:46 AM EDT, 09/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Deere (DE) is recalling 147,900 compact utility tractors due to brake failures that led to crashes, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission said in a notice Thursday.
The recall involves 1023E, 1025R and 2025R models. Deere has received four reports of brake failures, which resulted in one hospitalization and two impact injuries, according to the notice.
CPSC also said that an additional 16,800 tractors were sold in Canada.
Deere did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
Shares of the company were up 1.1% in recent trading.
