08:25 AM EDT, 06/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Deere (DE) will cut an unspecified number of production and salaried positions "to meet its strategic priorities while reducing overlap and redundancy in roles and responsibilities," according to a Wednesday filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The layoffs are expected to take place in fiscal Q3, according to the filing.

Deere said its guidance provided on May 16 isn't expected to be impacted by the job cuts.
