11:07 AM EDT, 04/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Delcath Systems ( DCTH ) said in a regulatory filing Friday it signed a fifth amendment to the license, supply and contract manufacturing agreement with Synerx Pharma and Mylan Teoranta to supply the company's melphalan hydrochloride product, effective May 1.

The amendment will extend the term of the agreement to Dec. 31, 2028, and will require Delcath ( DCTH ) to place purchase orders for melphalan hydrochloride at least 210 days before the delivery, the company added in its 8-K filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

Financial terms of the agreement weren't disclosed.

Shares of the company were up more than 3% in recent Friday trading.
