The stock earlier reached an intraday record of $166.77 and was up 5% to $161.18 in late trading

Trading volume topping 15.3 million shares versus the daily average of almost 9 million.

Earlier this week, Dell launched a new range of personal computers designed to handle AI tasks and said it is expanding its offerings of AI solutions with Nvidia (NVDA).
