Analysts polled by FactSet expected non-GAAP earnings excluding some items of $2.07.

Revenue in the three months ended Nov. 1 rose to $24.4 billion from $22.3 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $24.7 billion.

Dell shares fell 5.1% in after-hours activity.
