01:34 PM EST, 01/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Delta Air Lines ( DAL ) said Wednesday it cancelled about 400 flights before noon as airports in the Gulf Coast and Southeast regions face "rare, significant snowfall and ice."

The company said teams are working to safely resume service, but also urged customers to expect more delays and cancellations as weather forecasts are not expecting rise in temperature above freezing on Wednesday.
