07:12 AM EDT, 10/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Delta Air Lines ( DAL ) has filed a lawsuit against CrowdStrike ( CRWD ) over the global outage in July that caused mass flight cancellations and cost the carrier $500 million, media outlets reported over the weekend.

In a case filed at the Fulton County Superior Court, Delta alleged that CrowdStrike ( CRWD ) failed to test the faulty update before deploying it worldwide, according to reports.

Delta and CrowdStrike ( CRWD ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
