09:13 AM EDT, 04/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Delta Air Lines ( DAL ) co-owned Virgin Atlantic said Wednesday that it would return to profitability in 2024 after strong demand from leisure travelers drove 2023 revenue up by 265 million British pounds ($333.2 million) to a record 3.1 billion British pounds.

The UK airline, which is 49%-owned by Delta, reported an adjusted pre-tax loss of 139 million pounds in 2023, narrowing from a loss of 206 million pounds a year earlier.
