May 20 (Reuters) - Delta Air Lines ( DAL ) said it is

resuming daily roundtrip flights from New York JFK Airport to

Tel Aviv starting Tuesday.

The flights were temporarily suspended by the U.S. airline

in early May in response to ongoing conflict in the region and 

follows an extensive security risk assessment by the airline. In

early May, Iran-aligned Houthi rebels launched a missile attack

near Israel's Ben Gurion Airport.
