Demand not completely back; pain in affordable segment: Can Fin Homes
Nov 19, 2020 2:41 AM

Demand has improved over the past three to four months, but is yet to get back to pre-COVID levels, Girish Kousgi, MD & CEO of Can Fin Homes said in an interview to CNBC-TV18.

“Demand is not completely back. It is at 80 percent of pre-COVID levels,” he said.

“It is far better than what we expected 3-4 months back. In another 3-4 months we expect demand to be close to 100 percent in Q1 of FY22,” he added.

According to him, there is pain in affordable segment.

On margins, Kousgi thinks that the current net interest margin and spreads are not sustainable. “Spreads will be maintained above 2.4 percent,” he said.
