Demand stablising; expect resurgence in 2021: Cyient
Dec 11, 2020 7:05 AM

Karthikeyan Natarajan, President & COO of Cyient, on Friday said that the uncertainty in demand had impacted business earlier but now it’s stabilising and that he expects resurgence in 2021.

In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Natarajan said, “The demand surge that we are seeing is essentially enabled by 5G, healthcare and medical devices, design led manufacturing and digital transformation. These are the key drivers of growth that we are looking at in the second half and this will continue in FY22 as well.”

“We are holding on to our guidance and we would be hitting Q4 of fiscal year 2020 revenue by Q4 of FY21,” he said.

According to him, customers are yet to finalise their 2021 budget versus the month of September and some clients’ budgeting could be delayed by 3-4 months.
