Denison Mines Completes Inaugural ISR Field Test Program at Midwest Uranium Project
Jun 3, 2024 4:12 AM

06:49 AM EDT, 06/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Denison Mines ( DNN ) , just shy of 52-week highs in Canada, on Monday reported the completion of the inaugural in-situ recovery field test program at Denison's 25%-owned Midwest Uranium Project.

The program involved drilling 10 small-diameter boreholes within the Midwest Main deposit, primarily to evaluate site-specific conditions for ISR mining. Denison conducted a series of tests on each borehole, providing the company with a geological, hydrogeological, geotechnical, and metallurgical data database and validated certain key assumptions.

Among the highlights, the program confirmed hydraulic conductivity; and demonstrated the effectiveness of permeability enhancement. Additionally, metallurgical samples were defined and collected for leaching characteristics, the company said.

The company's shares remained unchanged in premarket U.S. trading on Monday.
