07:15 AM EDT, 07/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Denison Mines ( DNN ) on Monday said several "significant" new intercepts of shallow high-grade uranium mineralization have been discovered at the McClean South zone, part of its 22.5%-owned McClean Lake joint venture in northern Saskatchewan.
Results include 7.51% equivalent uranium grade (eU3O8) over 5.4 metres, 3.5% eU3O8 over 11.2 metres, and 1.72% eU3O8 over 20.6 metres. Fourteen of 24 completed drill holes from the program encountered significant intercepts of uranium mineralization, Denison said.
Orano Canada, which owns 77.5% of the MLJV, and is its operator, completed a 6,400-metre exploration drilling program at McClean South during the first half of 2025. McClean South is 600 metres to the south of the McClean North deposit, where the joint venture has begun commercial mining.
Denison shares were last seen up US$0.02, to US$2.15, in pre-market New York trading.
