07:53 AM EDT, 09/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Dentalcorp Holdings ( DNTCF ) said Wednesday that it made an indirect investment in Dental Innovation Alliance VC Fund I, which invests in early-stage dental technology.

The fund's portfolio is focused on clinical outcomes, access to care and practice performance, according to DentalCorp ( DNTCF ).

The company said the investment boosts its strategy of investing in artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies to support its growing network of dental practices.

"This investment positions Dentalcorp ( DNTCF ) to potentially benefit from a wide range of emerging innovations in dental technology," said Graham Rosenberg, CEO and chairman of Dentalcorp ( DNTCF ). Dentalcorp's ( DNTCF ) share price rose 1.5% yesterday to $8.32 on the TSX.
