Desert Mountain Energy Begins Helium Production at its New Mexico Field

04:29 PM EDT, 06/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Desert Mountain Energy ( DMEHF ) on Wednesday operations are underway at its helium processing plant on the West Pecos Field in New Mexico.

The company said the plant is now separating helium from a natural gas stream and transferring it to an offtake trailer. The startup procedures are expected to last 60 to 90 days.

The company said it aims to achieve a final product of 99.9995% pure helium following the completion of the start-up process, with the intention of selling to targeted markets to optimize pricing.

Desert Mountain shares closed up $0.01 to $0.29 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
