09:13 AM EDT, 10/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Despegar.com ( DESP ) said Friday it is collaborating with Karisma Hotels & Resorts to license its AI travel assistant Sofia to Karisma's chatbot system.

Through this collaboration Karisma will be able to offer "seamless, personalized assistance" in travel planning and booking, the company said.

Financial details of the collaboration were not disclosed.
