Deutsche Bank Says Waste Connections Investing in AI to Boost Efficiency

11:06 AM EDT, 10/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Deutsche Bank said Tuesday that Waste Connections ( WCN ) is investing in new AI technologies

to further digitize and deploy efficiency tools across the entire company.

As an example, Deutsche Bank said internal and external data aggregation is allowing the company to accurately determine acceptance level of specific pricing which should help reduce churn significantly.

In 2026, Waste Connections ( WCN ) is implementing real-time routing to further enhance productivity, Deutsche Bank said. A complete digitization of the maintenance program is also underway which should help to improve inventory control, enhance predictability in preventative and scheduled maintenance, and ultimately lead to more flexible and predictable cost management, the bank added.

Deutsche Bank recently hosted Waste Connections ( WCN ) chief executive officer Ron Mittelstaedt and chief financial officer Mary Anne Whitney in management meetings, where the company focused on the recent leadership changes, culture, pricing and volume trends, and operational improvements.

Waste Connections ( WCN ) traded at $241.30 per share at last look Tuesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
