Deutsche Bank to Cut Headcount by 2,000, Reduce Branches by 'Significant Number'

11:17 AM EDT, 03/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Deutsche Bank ( DB ) shares were edging lower Wednesday after Chief Executive Christian Sewing said the lender intends to reduce branches by "a significant number" and that it will cut nearly 2,000 people in the personal bank division this year, according to a FactSet transcript.
