Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $0.39.
Revenue in the quarter ended June 30 rose to $1.0 billion from $871.3 million a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.04 billion.
The company said it expects Q3 revenue of about $975 million to $1 billion. Analysts expect $1.15 billion.
For full year 2024, the company now expects revenue of about $4.0 billion to $4.05 billion. It previously projected $4.2 billion to $4.35 billion. Analysts are looking for $4.33 billion.
The company unveiled a $750 million share repurchase program.
Shares tumbled past 34% in after-hours activity.
