09:50 AM EDT, 08/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- DexCom ( DXCM ) said Wednesday that its Dexcom G7 Continuous Glucose Monitoring System will be added to the Regie de l'assurance maladie du Quebec's Public Prescription Drug Insurance Plan.

As a result, eligible type 1 diabetes patients will be able to receive coverage for Dexcom G7, the company said.

Shares of DexCom ( DXCM ) were down 0.6% in recent trading.
