09:39 AM EDT, 07/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Diageo ( DEO ) said Wednesday that it has appointed Deirdre Mahlan as interim chief financial officer, effective Aug. 18.

Mahlan succeeds Nik Jhangiani, who assumed the role of interim chief executive officer on July 16, the company said.

Mahlan most recently served as interim CEO of The Duckhorn Portfolio before its sale to Butterfly Equity, Diageo ( DEO ) said.
