Diamondback Energy misses estimates for third-quarter profit

Nov 4 (Reuters) - Diamondback Energy ( FANG ) missed

estimates for third-quarter profit on Monday as the oil and gas

firm was hurt by lower prices.

The company reported an adjusted profit of $3.38 per share

for the quarter ended Sept. 30, compared with analysts' average

estimate of $3.98 per share, according to data compiled by LSEG.
