05:36 AM EDT, 09/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Diamondback Energy ( FANG ) said late Thursday it priced an underwritten public offering of about 12.8 million shares of its common stock, upsized from 11.3 million shares, by certain Legacy Endeavor stockholders.

The expected gross proceeds are about $2.2 billion, and Diamondback will not receive any proceeds from the sale.

The selling stockholders have granted the underwriters a 30-day option to buy up to an additional about 1.6 million shares. The offering is expected to close Sept. 23.
