Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 rose to $2.48 billion from $1.92 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $2.20 billion.

The company's board set a quarterly base cash dividend of $0.90 per share and a variable cash dividend of $1.44 a share, payable on Aug. 22 to shareholders of record on Aug. 15.
