Jul 26, 2024 11:19 AM

02:04 PM EDT, 07/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Diana Shipping ( DSX ) said Friday it entered a $167.3 million, six-year secured term loan facility with Nordea Bank the day before and drew down the full amount.

The new loan, which will mature in July 2030, is secured by ten of its vessels, the company added.

The proceeds were used to refinance two existing loans with Nordea Bank -- one for $149.3 million and the other for $18 million -- which were set to mature in October 2027 and June 2028, respectively.
