11:37 AM EDT, 04/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Diana Shipping ( DSX ) said Monday it has entered into a time charter contract with ASL Bulk Shipping for Leto, a Panamax dry bulk vessel.

The gross charter rate is $16,000 per day, minus a 5% commission paid to third parties, for a period until a minimum of March 1, 2025, up to a maximum of April 30, 2025, the company said.

The charter is set to start Thursday, the company added.

Leto's employment is expected to generate about $4.75 million in gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the time charter, the company said.
