11:15 AM EDT, 06/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Diana Shipping ( DSX ) said Friday it entered into a time charter contract with Cobelfret for the m/v Myrsini Kamsarmax dry bulk vessel.

The shipping company entered the contract through a wholly-owned subsidiary and expects the charter to begin on June 25. The gross charter rate is $17,100 per day, less a 5% commission paid to third parties, for a period until a minimum Feb. 1, 2025, up to a maximum March 25, 2025.

Gross revenue is expected around $3.71 million for the minimum scheduled period of the time charter, the company said.
