Diana Shipping Secures Time Charter Contract for Ultramax Vessel

10:40 AM EDT, 08/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Diana Shipping ( DSX ) said Thursday it has secured a time charter contract with Cargill Ocean Transportation (Singapore) for its Ultramax vessel, m/v DSI Pegasus.

The charter rate is $15,250 per day, less a 4.75% commission, for a minimum period until June 1, 2025, or a maximum until Aug. 1, 2025. The charter is expected to start on Sept. 4.

The charter contract is expected to generate gross revenue of $4.09 million for the minimum period, the company said.

Diana Shipping ( DSX ) shares were down 0.4% in recent trading.
