10:16 AM EST, 11/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Diana Shipping ( DSX ) said Friday it signed a time charter contract with Stone Shipping for an Ultramax dry bulk vessel.

The company said the gross charter rate for m/v DSI Pyxis is $13,100 per day, minus a 5% commission paid to third parties. The charter is expected to begin later in the day and end from as early as Feb. 20, 2026, to as late as April 20, 2026.

Diana Shipping ( DSX ) said it expects to generate gross revenue of about $6.1 million for the time charter's minimum scheduled period.
