Diana Shipping's Q1 Earnings, Revenue Fall

08:57 AM EDT, 05/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Diana Shipping ( DSX ) reported Q1 earnings Tuesday of $0.01 per diluted share, down from $0.22 a year earlier.

A single analyst polled by Capital IQ expected $0.02.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $57.6 million, down from $72.6 million a year earlier.

A sole analyst surveyed by Capital IQ expected $59 million.

The shipping company maintained its quarterly dividend at $0.075 per share, payable around June 18 to shareholders of record on June 12.

Shares of the company were down 3% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
