Dick's Sporting Goods Names Matthew Barnes as President of Foot Locker

03:34 AM EST, 11/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Dick's Sporting Goods (DKS) said Tuesday it has named Matthew Barnes as president of Foot Locker International, effective Dec. 3.

Barnes has nearly three decades of corporate leadership experience, including Aldi and Tesco.

According to Ludmila Semushina, head of that specific Apple Store in Moscow, Russia, quoted by reports, Svyatoslav Kovalenko, the customer,  walked into the store with a bathtub full of coins and had approximately 100,000 Russian rubles,  that is  $1,400 — the price of the iPhone XS 256 GB variant.
