08:26 AM EDT, 08/26/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Dick's Sporting Goods (DKS) and Foot Locker ( FL ) said Tuesday that the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 expired Monday, in connection with Dick's Sporting Goods' planned acquisition of Foot Locker ( FL ).

All required regulatory approvals for merger completion have now been received, and the acquisition is expected to close on Sept. 8, the two companies said.
