Digi International Acquires Particle Industries for $50 Million

05:53 PM EST, 01/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Digi International ( DGII ) said late Tuesday it acquired Particle Industries, a provider of edge-to-cloud application infrastructure for connected devices, for $50 million in cash.

The company said the acquisition will lift annual recurring revenue in its IoT Products and Services segment by more than 60%, building on the $32 million in ARR reported as of Sept. 30, 2025.

Digi ( DGII ) said it financed the deal using its existing credit facility and will update fiscal 2026 guidance, including the acquisition's impact, with its Q1 results on Feb. 4.

The company's shares were up 2.7% in after-hours trading.
