Digihost Increases August Bitcoin Production

07:34 AM EDT, 09/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Digihost Technology ( DGHI ) reported on Wednesday a month-over-month increase in Bitcoin (BTC) production in August.

The U.S.-based blockchain technology and computer infrastructure company said its BTC production totaled 55 BTC in August, a 30% increase from July.

Digihost ( DGHI ) held cash, BTC and cash deposits of US$10.4 million as of Aug. 31, rising from US$6.9 million as of July 31.

The company said it spent about US$800,000 on capital expenditures, mining infrastructure support equipment and deposits.

Digihost ( DGHI ) said it is currently exploring opportunities to build its initial Tier 3 data center with a target completion date of end of 2025.

The company's share price rose 0.9% to US$1.19 at last look in Nasdaq pre-market trading.
