Dilip Buildcon expects an uptick of order inflows in H2FY20
Feb 22, 2019 8:40 AM

Infrastructure major, Dilip Buildcon Ltd, on Friday said the company expects an uptick of order inflows in H2FY20.

In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Rohan Suryavanshi, head - strategy and planning, said, "The central government had a target of awarding about 15,000 kilometres of roads. Obviously, the government is far behind that target. But as of now, around Rs 1,20,000 crore of orders have already been put out for bidding and the majority of land acquisitions for these projects are done. So, if the next government comes to power, the order book is still there."

"All construction companies right now have orders for at least three years. So, companies already have good visibility of orders," Suryavanshi said, "The order inflow from five years ago had gone almost nine times up. There has been no delay in terms of government processes. In fact, it has improved on all metrics in terms of five years ago. The quantum of work has increased."
