May 26, 2025 1:13 PM

07:27 AM EDT, 05/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Dillard's (DDS) has sued Wells Fargo ( WFC ) over allegations that it breached agreements on a co-branded credit card, costing the retailer tens of millions of dollars, according to a court complaint.

Dillard's accused Wells Fargo ( WFC ) of being an "unwilling and incapable partner" following a series of federal legal settlements and of abandoning the co-branded card business last year without informing it, the filing said.

Dillard's said it is seeking monetary damages and legal costs.

Dillard's and Wells Fargo ( WFC ) did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
