10:55 AM EDT, 07/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Walt Disney ( DIS ) and Hearst are exploring a potential sale of their A+E Global Media joint venture, Deadline and other media outlets reported Tuesday, citing sources close to the matter.

The parent company of cable networks A&E, History and Lifetime has retained Wells Fargo (WFC) to help it look at various strategic options, Deadline reported, adding that an outright sale may not end up being the ultimate plan, and a transaction possibly might not occur at all if the terms don't turn out to be favorable.

Disney ( DIS ) and Hearst did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
