March 24 (Reuters) - Disney ( DIS ) said on Tuesday it

respects OpenAI's move to discontinue its video generation tool

Sora, with the media giant and the ChatGPT maker winding down a

partnership announced just months ago.

"We respect OpenAI's decision to exit the video generation

business and to shift its priorities elsewhere ... we will

continue to engage with AI platforms ... while responsibly

embracing new technologies that respect IP and the rights of

creators," a Disney ( DIS ) spokesperson said.
