Disney Raises Streaming Prices, Adds New Channels

01:20 PM EDT, 08/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Walt Disney ( DIS ) said Tuesday it has raised streaming service prices and added new channels as part of new offerings.

Disney+ without ads climbed to $15.99, and also offered a bundle that includes Disney+ and Hulu, both with and without ads separately. Hulu fee rose to $10.99 in bundle offer with ads. Hulu and ESPN+ prices as standalone streaming services were also raised.

The price hikes take effect Oct. 17.

In addition, Disney ( DIS ) said that Disney+ subscribers will be able to watch ABC News Live and a playlist of preschool programming starting on Sept. 4. Premium subscribers will get channels devoted to documentaries, action films and pop culture later this year.
